Fixing stuff around yourself
Hey all, I am siddiqua farooq and I will be sharing my methodology of fixing my stuff on my study table.
I usually don't bother to keep things arranged rather mess work for me even better and thus it was really “a big thing” to arrange my stuff. I will be honest that if it was not asked to arrange stuff and click photos I wouldn't have done that today. I appreciate those who keep their stuff well arranged but being a procrastinator this is not my cup of tea. Let's get started…..
Before arranging stuff I need to figure out which part of my dining room I need to fix because due to lockdown I have no place left for taking classes and keeping my stuff as my siblings are already bearing me with heavy heart thus don't want to disturb them all day all night to meet my deadlines…JUST KIDDING. Thus the only place left is the dining room or I guess the washroom but that is not really a good idea. So here is the picture of how messy my dining room and let's figure out the easiest part to fix……PROCRASTINATOR ME URGHHH.
You must be thinking why all sofas are cover, well that's the mystery and only my mama knows that. Being the laziest person I choose the easiest part….THE DINING TABLE...HEHEHEHE
Please don't judge me but maybe it was February or January when few guests visited us and I had to arranged my stuff and cleaned that part. Moving on to the closer look of my study table AKA dining table.
So basically my papers and pens were creating most of the mess thus I grasp my sheets and arranged them on the clipboard, and for my pens, I have a bag so I placed them in that yellow bag. Then I folded Jainamaz and placed it on the table, arranged chairs, did dusting, and put back all extra things that I just keep adding on that table. After working for almost 25 minutes I was managed to arrange my stuff and fix that place.
And the final look that I get is as shown above. I found my lost pens and assignments while doing the dusting part and I really enjoyed that activity. When I completed my task and my mama came to call me for dinner, She was surprised by the amount of neatness and arrangement observed. Thus she asked me how this all happened? and I told her that we were assigned to write a blog about fixing things…And she gave a sarcastic reply: “Ask your siblings to get enroll in that fellowship then maybe you all will act like adults” HAHA.
Jokes apart, Arranging stuff makes you more disciplined and reduces wastage of time to find things. And by such a small act, one can practice managerial and leadership skills that can help in the long run. I would try to adopt this quality and practice leadership without authority in my routine.
Thanks for your patience :)
